Soft bristles with round polished ends. Bristles angled against each other. In addition the back of the head has plastic cleaners/scrapers for scraping along tongue & cheeks thus removing bacterial buildup, not unlike a tongue scraper. Interesting idea, & does work--especially in cases where bad breath is a problem.
