Description Packet of 4 small handled cylindrical brushes in colour-coded multiple sizes(see size photo) Plastic coated central wire. Plastic cap for brushes. Very good quality but these types(in all brands) are more costly than proxa refills above. However some patients prefer these to the bigger proxa handle, & sizes are easy to distinguish due to colour coding.
Product Action The bristles of the brush access areas which cannot be reached by ordinary toothbrushes and will remove plaque. Very effective when used after dipping in mouthwash.For details see cleaning in between.
Product Use For use between all teeth affected by some degree of gum loss, to remove plaque where toothbrush/floss cannot reach & particularly in deeper gum pockets to prevent further gum disease. Handier size for carrying around & traveling compared to Butler handle. Typically used once per day an experienced user will use 2-4/week.
